Guild of Christ Child:

Gift given in memory of a still born grandson of $250 will be used for Guild of Christ child.  Elin suggested that we purchase Moses baskets for the poor and encourage baptism particularly with the new shelter for women.

Gary updated DVD  which started as Guild

Commo:

Gary showed sample of church video on you tube and asked whether we want to do it for St. T.s.  Buff and Gary will work on it in December.

Something should be on the permanent sign frame all of the time.   We also need to get power to the original sign.

After action St. Teresa's Feast

Idea of joining St. Francis and St. Teresa Feast in an octave celebration.

We could have a sort of homecoming-Fr. Larry invite grown children etc.

This falls under worship so Sharon Cruser will follow up on this idea.

Evangelism includes Friendship Sunday re Larry so Oct 5 could be such.

Elin would like to stress academic regalia.

Gary added that we need a control statement from vestry re minors and alcoholic beverages.  And enforcement is necessary.   Alcohol must be served by an adult whenever we have adult refreshments.

Newcomers:

Jeri is resigning and we are looking for a new chair.  Buff passed out a summary of action plan.  Need flyers on what it means to be an Episcopalian.   Buff will get samples from St. James' Prayer Book.  Newcomers should be regarded as a ministry not a committee ie ongoing commitment.

Gary says a report is a great idea and could be e-mailed to committee members.

Congregational Ministry:  Fred announced that there will be a December 2, 2007 presentation between services on health ministry.

Worship    Gary is using Lutheran Hour materials for Sojourners and suggested that they could be used for entire church.

Sharon says schedule is set for 4:30 and 11pm Christmas eve and Christmas day is 11am.

Sharon is coordinating volunteers for Sunday am.

Rose is contact for website.

Larry and Buff check email for announcements/info for bulletins, newsletters.

Epiphany, Lent, and Fall Festival 2008 was tabled until December.

Larry would like to see us move toward outside speakers like Ken Blanchard for a parish weekend.  It will cost money, but it is time to do something.

Next Meeting:  December 2, 2007 right after 10:30 service.

Devotional:  Bob Brancheau

Larry will do lunch.
