Year Round “Giving Tree” Program Families who were helped by the Giving Tree project often have year-round needs. Mission & Ministry has identified a number of those families who would benefit from continuous support and relationship with the members of St Teresa’s. Annual Project Update: Spare Change Sunday
With the help of parishioners at St. Teresa’s, we were able to “adopt” three deserving families. We assist them throughout the year with needed items such as clothes, food, birthday gifts for the children etc ...
1. Single mother with 6 children. Husband left shortly after her youngest child was born. She is living with her elderly mother in a two bedroom duplex. With guidance from her St. Teresa’s lead family, she is currently looking for work and childcare.
2. Single mother with 2 children. Living in Dallas Housing Authority. Is finishing LPN school in an attempt to better her children’s lives and move into a home of their own.

3. Single mother with 3 children. Living in the Dallas Housing Authority. We met her during our Christmas Giving Tree Project. We were touched by her gratitude and Thank You Note.
