Episcopal Youth Community

Information about EYC Events can be found on out Youth Events Calendar.

Youth Ministry is divided into two groups

At At. Teresa's Episcopal Church, we want our youth to know they are loved by the Lord Jesus Christ.

The vision for the middle school youth is to create a basic foundation that will foster the growth and self-confidence of the youth by building a respectful relationship with God, each other, and our community.

We want the high school youth to be confident in their faith, confident in themselves, and as members of the body of Christ, confident in their service to their community and beyond.

Youth Mission Trip

This year, St. Teresa’s is very excited about offering our Senior High youth members a mission trip to the Heifer Ranch in Perryville, Arkansas. This trip will be the conclusion to our exploration of poverty and hunger in our local, national, and international community. Prior to the trip, the youth group will be volunteering at organizations that include MedShare International , The Atlanta Food Bank , Warehouse of Hope , and the Dallas Housing Authority. A 24 Hour Famine fund raiser will help our group to begin to understand the circumstances surrounding hunger. At the Heifer Ranch, the youth will be participating in the Summer Action Program. In this program, they will learn about their role as global citizens and about how their choices affect the lives of others. They will learn there are a part of a global community and they have the power to make decisions to improve the lives of others. Needless to say, our youth will be making a difference more than ever this year.
